Balco’s success with Persimmon Homes on Heathfield Gardens

Balco has won another project, this time working with Persimmon Homes in Taunton, Somerset. Initially, Balco was asked to design, manufacture, and install four corner balconies, two straight balconies, and two Juliette balconies.

However, after the project was sold, Persimmon Homes asked us to supply two more straight balconies in lieu of the two Juliette balconies.

Design requirements

All of these balconies are Balco’s bespoke Aluracke glass vertical bar balustrade, with a standard concrete slab for the flooring. The client wanted to have front columns on the balconies. They also requested no lower flashing.
