Balco’s bespoke balustrade, adapted to each project specifically. In this project Balco replaced over 700 linear meters of old balustrade, replacing it with top-fixed Balco Aluracke Glass Balustrade for the existing open balconies.
Balco won the project of Iveagh Court, located in Nightingale Crescent, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 9PW. Balco worked alongside United Living to complete this project for our client, Silva Homes. The project commenced on the 1st of October 2018 and concluded on the 23rd of March 2021.
On this project, Balco didn’t install any of our own bespoke balconies, as it was a refurbishment of the 114 flats. Instead, Balco replaced over 700 linear meters of old balustrade, replacing it with top-fixed Balco Aluracke Glass Balustrade for the existing open balconies.
Throughout the site, a comprehensive renewal initiative enhanced the aesthetic and safety standards. Outdated flashings in the private balcony zones were systematically upgraded, offering a consistent modern appearance.
The new 1.2mm powder-coated flashings seamlessly integrated across the project. Handrails along communal walkways underwent a transformation, with sleek aluminium replacements mirroring the private balcony design.
Additionally, the entrance stairway saw an upgrade to Balco’s structural glass balustrades, prioritizing safety and accessibility.
