ConFee is Balco’s concrete slab open balcony system. Suitable for new builds, renovations and retrofitting to existing buildings. We have a suitable ConFe balcony solution for every building.
Temple Farm, Chelmsford, was another of Balco’s ConFe projects. Balco worked closely with the Jehovah’s Witnesses to produce 172 open balconies spread out over 5 blocks for their HQ.
These balconies feature aluminum balustrades with a leaf and flower pattern, as well as aluminum privacy screens. The color of the balconies and privacy screens is RAL7016, in 20 different color variations. For flooring, the balconies had Balco’s standard concrete slab.
This project was awarded an outstanding rating for the design and construction methods used, which is the highest rating possible according to the world’s leading sustainability assessment standard, BREEAM. This is only the second project in the world to receive this rating under the BREEAM Communities Scheme.
