Balco’s success with Lovell Homes on The Mill

Project Insight

Balco has recently completed a project at the Mill, Canton, Cardiff, where Lovell was the main contractor. Balco designed, manufactured, and installed 16 of our bespoke balconies over the two apartment blocks.

Different balustrades types used

This project specifically features two different styles of Balco’s balconies. Firstly, we have the standard Balco glass balustrade, which also includes privacy screens, and the standard Balco concrete slab for the choice of f looring. The other Balco balcony used in this project is a standard Balco vertical bar balustrade, which also utilizes the standard Balco slab.

Corner balconies

Four of our Balco glass balustrade balconies are oversized corner balconies, which are larger than the standard balconies and also wrap around the corner of a wall rather than ending before. Corner balconies ensure that space is maximized as much as possible; they also allow even more natural light into the building. All of the corner balconies installed on this project are Balco’s standard glass balustrade, with privacy screens.
