Balco’s success with Inland Homes on Church Road

Seamless success

Another Open Balcony project Balco has recently won is Church Road, located in Ashford, Surrey. We closely collaborated with Inland Homes to fulfill all the necessary design adjustments. When Balco first encountered this project, we had just secured another of Inland Homes’ projects, Meridian Waterside. Inland Homes was so satisfied with Balco’s products and customer service from Meridian Waterside that they chose to partner with us for this project as well.

Project scope

On this project, we manufactured, designed, and installed 229 Balco Open Balconies. Each balcony features an Aluracke system, an aluminum vertical bar balustrade finished with aluminum powder-coated flashing, providing a simplistic yet sophisticated finish. We incorporated multiple balcony designs, including a corner balcony design consisting of two balconies bolted together with a vertical steel column. Additionally, we installed 18 privacy screens with obscured glass.

Client requirements

For this project, the client specified an asymmetric design feature for each balcony. All tension rods and balcony brackets are concealed behind the brick façade, leaving only the fixing plates visible. Balco commenced this project with Inland Homes in 2019, and the final balcony installation was completed in December 2022, snag free and with a perfect finish.
